Inventory of Depressive Symptoms*, Melancholic symptoms # : mean score per season. * 30 Item self-report version of the Inventory of Depressive Symptoms. # Melancholic symptoms: summation of the scores on the items loss of pleasure, lack of reactivity to usually pleasurable stimuli, depressed mood, regularly worse in the morning, early morning awakening, psychomotor retardation or agitation, the highest score of either anorexia or weight loss, and excessive or inappropriate guilt (score range 0 - 3, total score range 0 - 24). Total group (n = 1033), ▬ = Healthy Control (n = 446), ▲ = Any Anxiety disorder last month (n = 129), ■ = Major Depression last month (n = 121), = Major Depression and Any Anxiety Disorder last month (n = 337).
