  1. Depression severity assessed by QIDS or HRSD using 5 factor regression model with inclusion of diagnosis, age, anticonvulsant use, and antidepressant/antipsychotic use. Model has 23 patients, 5 variables, results in 17 degrees of freedom.
  2. p value is for effect of depression severity after adjusting for the effects of the other 4 factors.
  3. Effect sizes using η2 for where depression severity was significant in the regression model were large (>0.14) for the 4 genes using QIDS and for P2RX1 and P2RY1 using HRSD.
