From: Associations between caregiver-detected delirium and symptoms of depression and anxiety in family caregivers of critically ill patients: a cross-sectional study

Inclusion Criteria

≥18 years old

Family caregiver present

Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale Score ≥ − 3

Able to provide informed consent

Able to communicate with research staff

Anticipated to remain in the ICU for at least a further 24 h

No new primary neurologic injury

Glasgow Coma Scale score > 9
