Shifting peripheral levels of inflammatory indicators and cytokines. Figure 1 shows the changing tendency of serum inflammatory indicators and cytokines of the patient. The drastic fluctuation was noted before, especially in the levels of CRP, IL-6, and complement C3. After receiving antipsychotic and immunosuppressive therapy, the serum immunological indicators returned to normal alongside the improvement in the clinical manifestations.
