Experimental schedule and flow diagram. The participants rinsed and spitted out 25 mL of the study drug (d-sorbitol or placebo) once a day, just before the same timing of either of the two dosing times for asenapine. All participants were randomly assigned to Group A or Group B (n = 10 each)
